Erie Community Library is participating with
the AARP Tax-Aide program to provide free preparation of income tax returns for
taxpayers of all ages for tax year 2022. Trained and experienced Tax-Aide volunteers
will prepare and electronically file Federal and Colorado income tax returns
during one in-person appointment in the library.
Taxpayers must bring the following
documents:
·Picture ID
·Social Security cards or other documents with SS
numbers for primary taxpayer, spouse, and dependents
·All tax
documents, such as W-2s, 1099-Rs, Social Security statements, investment
statements, etc.
·Copy of last
year’s tax return is requested, but not always required

Tax-Aide will be in the library on Mondays
and Fridays from February 6, 2023 through April 10, 2023.

Twinkle Babies is a lap-sit storytime designed for adult caregivers and babies up to 18 months old. Age-appropriate actions, songs, and books are presented to promote early literacy skills. Registration is required. Please note, you are registering for the entire 8 week session, not individual storytimes.
Tales for Tots is a storytime for children ages 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. It features books, songs, and actions designed to develop early literacy skills and a love for reading. Children will develop listening skills allowing them to participate with the storytellers and the other children in the group. Seating will be on a first come, first served basis so please arrive early.
Music and Movement is designed for children and caregivers to get up and move together while enhancing motor skills and reinforcing early literacy skills. Instruments and activities are geared toward children ages 3 - 5. This event is drop in and has limited capacity, so please plan to arrive early.

Joins us Wednesday afternoons in our cozy Living Room as we gather to knit,
crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, latch hook, and hand sew. Come and work on existing
projects or learn something new.
Share patterns and ideas and help each other as we converse
with like-minded needle crafters. A crochet mentor is available to assist you with
learning how to crochet, read patterns and introduce new projects.
Please bring your own supplies. All levels and ages are welcome.

It's Saturday Family Storytime! Come read, talk, play, write and sing together. Kids 5 and under will enjoy great songs and stories and families will enjoy spending time together on the weekend! This event is first come, first seated and may fill to capacity, so please consider arriving early.
