Join us for Twinkle Babies Storytime at Centennial Park Library! This storytime is designed specifically for babies from birth to about 18 months. You'll learn songs, stories, and the fundamental tools for aiding your baby's healthy development. 

Designed for ages 3-5 but all ages are welcome. Storytime includes songs, books, fingerplays, movement and activities. Early literacy skills are emphasized and each participant will leave with a take-and-make craft or activity.

This program is for children and parents/caregivers to get up and move together! Any age welcome.

Did you know that babies can learn to sign before they have the ability to speak?  Join us for storytime where we will learn some signs through stories, songs, and rhymes as well as learn about the benefits of using signs with your little ones. Designed for ages birth-18 months but all are welcome.

Preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to an interactive storytime with books, songs, and activities for hands-on learning that illustrate science is around us every day. We'll look at the different foundations of STEAM (stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and discover that science can be practiced with simple materials and a lot of fun. Recommended for ages 3-4. Registration is required. Each session must be registered for separately.

This program is for children and parents/caregivers to get up and move together! Any age welcome.

People have enjoyed getting together to craft and socialize for generations.  Think of quilting bees and knitting circles.  

Cross stitch is a fun, timeless, and relaxing way to create beautiful pictures using a needle, embroidery floss, and fabric.  Centennial Park Library will offer a new kit every other month with all the supplies you need to create that month's project.  Projects will alternate between beginner and more advanced skill levels each month, so crafters will be able to develop their skills and try more challenging projects. Registration is required, while supplies last.

Paws to READ dogs will curl up  to share stories with anyone wanting to read them. Reluctant readers find that “man’s best friends” are willing to listen. Therapy dogs sit quietly and calmly while children read aloud to them, allowing children to become more relaxed and confident about reading.

Paws to Read therapy dogs love to hear children read to them! Stop by anytime between 6:00-7:00 pm and read aloud to our therapy dogs while they sit quietly and calmly. This allows children and reluctant readers to become more relaxed and confident about reading.
