Event Details

Adulting can be hard, but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.  We are here to help get you on the road to self-sufficiency.  Every month we will cover real-world topics that are essential to living independently.

March topic: My Future Money Life with Canvas Credit Union

Get a taste of the kind of real-life financial decisions you will be making in your future.  We will do a budget simulation where you will be assigned a job, income, and family then you decide how to spend your money on basics and fun stuff.  Can you make it through the month without going broke?  What will you do with all the extras you have left?  We’ll talk about the successes and challenges of managing money then chat about banking, credit scores, getting a loan, and whatever other money question you have.

For ages 14 – 23.  All programs will take place at Centennial Park Branch Library from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on the last Tuesday of each month with the exception of December 20th.  Registration Required.
