Cross Stitch Monthly Project Series

All Day
Centennial Park Library - Greeley

Event Details

Cross stitch is a fun, timeless and relaxing way to create beautiful pictures using needle, embroidery floss, and fabric.  Centennial Park Library will offer a new kit each month with all the supplies you need to create that month's project.  Projects will alternate between beginner and more advanced skill levels each month, so crafters will be able to develop their skills and try more challenging projects.
May's kit is a birthday celebration for the much-beloved New York Public Library stone lions flanking the library's entrance, Patience and Fortitude, who turn 110 years old in May!  Cross stitch a bookmark featuring the iconic lions, and learn some of their plus-century-long history with this kit.  NOTE:  To not burden participants with unneeded supplies, this kit will offer a needle available by request.  There is no charge to receive the cross stitch needle, just please indicate in your registration if you would like a needle included in your kit.
Also in your registration, let us know which branch you would like to collect your kit from.  Patrons who request Centennial Park will be able to pick their kits up beginning May 10.  If you request a different branch, your kit will be sent via courier during that week.  Registration required, while supplies last.
