About the presenter - Courtney is the Executive Director for the Colorado Dude & Guest Ranch Association (CDGRA), an association comprised of approximately 30 guest ranches. She manages marketing campaigns, member and legislative outreach, grant requests, business partner outreach, and general administration for the association. She also serves as the primary point of contact for anyone looking to learn more about Colorado Dude Ranches. Courtney grew up vacationing at dude ranches, then worked at two Colorado dude ranches during college, and has now visited and become familiar with ALL of the CDGRA ranches. This gives her the unique opportunity to be a voice for her industry. In March of 2014, Courtney was appointed to the Colorado Tourism Board of Directors by Governor John Hickenlooper. She also serves as the chair of the Destination Development Committee within the Colorado Tourism Office. She has been asked to help represent Colorado tourism (as a whole) for three international events and several US based events within the past few years. In May of 2016, Courtney was asked to join the Colorado Agritourism Association Board of Directors. Courtney is honored to hold these positions and to continue to be a voice for rural tourism in the state of Colorado.
