Life skills? Life hacks? Adulting 101?  Whatever you call it, you need it and we can help you learn it!  Adulting can be hard, but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.  We are here to help get you on the road to self-sufficiency.  Every month we will cover real-world topics that are essential to living independently.   For ages 14 – 23.  All programs will take place at Centennial Park Branch Library from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm on the last Tuesday of each month.  Registration Required.  Make sure to register for each event you would like to attend.

Coming up:

April 26 - Preparing for College & Financial Aid - It's never too early (or too late) to learn about college.  We will cover the basics to help get you started in planning for college, learning a trade, or earning credentials for your dream job.  Learn about all of the resources that are available, from study guides for entrance exams and assessments to figuring out how to fund your education.

May 24 - Career Planning - Did you know that Employment Services of Weld County provides youth employment and training programs?  Come find out about how they can help you prepare for the workforce.

June 28 - Money Matters - What you need to know about money management and and how making smart decisions now can lead to a healthy financial future.  Setting goals, budgets, bank accounts, and avoiding debt are just a few of topics we will cover.
