This entertaining program showcases genealogy resources found in the text of the classic Nancy Drew series and journeys through contemporary online records, photographs, maps, archival collections, cemeteries, and newspapers. This adventure around the world explores old and new tools of the trade including tackling foreign languages and finding clues and records in non-traditional places! 

Genealogist, Ellen Kowitt has been published in Family Tree Magazine. She is a volunteer Director of JewishGen’s United States Research Division and National Vice Chair of the DAR Lineage Committee Jewish Task Force. Currently, Ellen is participating in the ProGen 46 study group cohort and was recipient of the Utah Genealogical Association Jimmy B. Parker Scholarship for 2021.
