Joaquin Zihuatanejo presents this unflinching look at the life of a young inner city boy who grew up without a father, and a very young mother, but found refuge in a world of stories and poems thanks to his beautiful all encompassing Abuelo.
This event recognizes the strength in building community around ethnic identity and pride by honoring and celebrating those who have inspired us/contributed to our individual successes in life.
