Are you looking for an opportunity to share your love of knitting to help support breast cancer survivors? Have you or a friend or family member received a pair of Knitted Knockers and would like to give back to the volunteers who are behind them? Would you like to help bring more awareness to breast cancer, which affects 1 out of every 8 women in their lifetime? 
In support of Colorado Knitted Knockers, Centennial Park Library is hosting an all-day knitting event. Knitted Knockers are special, handmade breast prosthesis for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Colorado Knitted Knockers supplies Knitted Knockers to those in need all over Colorado. Through support from UCHealth, all of the supplies will be available to help knit, stuff, and package Knitted Knockers that will stay in the the Northern Colorado community.
Come join us for the day, or an hour or two, of knitting, sharing, and caring for the women in your life, and you community, experiencing breast cancer.
